Vora Helps Out Business in Blackout

HAMILTON - Vora Technology Park came to the rescue of a local business still blacked-out by the windstorm that pounded the area last Sunday.
While 70 percent of Duke Energy customers were still without power, businesses throughout the region scrambled for back-up relief facilities to maintain business operations. VTP - which is served by the city of Hamilton's electric system - was fully operational and had office space available for immediate occupancy. The VTP staff worked tirelessly to set up additional cubicles, computers, and conference rooms to assist Verso Paper Corp, which normally operates out of West Chester Twp., an area affected by the extended power outage.
"We really appreciate the hospitality and generosity that Vora Technology exhibited during our time of need," said Fred Marcum, director of demand for Verso. "I cannot emphasize enough our appreciation of their efforts. There was no hesitation in their response to help us out."
"We are so pleased that Verso has benefited from our infrastructure and that we are able to partner with them to provide a seamless disaster recovery so that their business continued to operate during this emergency situation," said Mahendra Vora, CEO of Vora Technology Park.
