Timothy B. Matthews, Founder and Managing Partner of Vora Technology Park
Mr. Matthews collaborated with Mahendra Vora to invest in and create one of the largest technology parks in the country and formally opened Vora Technology Park in March 2005.
A partner at Keating, Muething & Klekamp since 1987, Mr. Matthews serves as head of the firm’s Commercial Finance Practice Group with emphasis on bank transactions, institutional and fund lending and a variety of complex financing transactions. His financing experience includes syndicated loan transactions, mezzanine capital transactions, equity and private venture transactions, private placements, leveraged ESOP buy-outs, equipment financing and leasing, joint venture arrangements, international lending, debtor-in-possession financing, loan workouts and bankruptcy reorganizations, sale-leasebacks, like-kind exchanges and other sophisticated financing, bankruptcy, reorganization and corporate transactions. Named Ohio Super Lawyer by Law & Politics, 2007-2008 and Leading Lawyer in Cincy Business Magazine, 2005-2007.
Mr. Matthews also has an extensive technology and media background. He has produced educational programs on video for estate planning and developed software for commercial applications. His experience includes numerous consulting and legal engagements for technology-oriented businesses, including software development companies, e-commerce and Internet-based companies, as well as for traditional businesses with technology-oriented business units or initiatives. He is a principal owner in businesses engaged in television broadcasting, home shopping, film/video production, software development, web site development and e-commerce. He has served as an editorial advisor, content developer and technical advisor with experience in programming at all levels from assembly language to high-level applications development software.
