New name, new purpose
Entrepreneur redeveloping Champion HQ

HAMILTON - Entrepreneur Mahendra Vora has launched a dozen companies, but only one bears his family name.

That's one reason he said he feels strongly about his Vora Technology Park, the rebirth of the former Champion International headquarters on Knightsbridge Drive here.

"I'm here to stay. This is the only business I've started with my father's name on it. There's no way I'm going to let it fail," said Vora, 44, whose father, a merchant, died in 1988.  Read more...
